HANDCRAFTED AMERICAN UPHOLSTERY
HOW OUR FURNITURE IS MADE
Our craftsman-built frames are constructed in our own facility using reinforced, cross-directional hardwood laminate for superior stability with corner blocking and mortise and tenon joinery where appropriate.
Each frame’s raw material is made from domestically sourced Sustainable Forestry Initiative certified Georgia Pacific wood, along with certified Appalachian hardwoods
spring suspension system
Our elite pocketed coil spring suspension system is manufactured and sourced domestically. Pocketed coils, which feature individually encased and interlaced vertical springs offer far greater comfort, stability and durability than sinuous springs (sometimes called without irony “no-sag” springs) and are on par with true eight way hand tied springs in terms of durability and may well exceed them in comfort.
cushioning and padding materials
All cushioning and padding materials are produced in America. Our seat cushions start with a core of dense, plush, ultra-cel foam. A layer of wispy soft, foam is layered on and then the cushion is wrapped in synthetic down feathers creating a crown of comfort.
Back pillows will be filled with a soft and resilient synthetic down fill that provides a soft and supportive feel with minimal fluffing and extended durability.
Fabric & Leather
Fabric and leather for the upholstery are cut and sewn in our own local production facility.
All thread is produced in the United States.
The final packaging is supplied only by domestic manufacturers. We ship our furniture in two ply plastic bags to prevent abrasion. Each piece is then protected by heavy, reinforced cardboard packaging.
