We are excited to announce our new partnership with Kravet Inc. Described as an American Heritage brand, Kravet is one of the largest suppliers of interior fabrics and wallcoverings worldwide.
Kravet Inc.’s origin story is the American dream personified, and like our company, Kravet is also family-owned. It all began with a Russian tailor sewing custom suites for carriage drivers.  The business grew from that small tailor’s shop to making elasticized sleeve garters to a warehouse of upholstery trims and slipcovers by the early 1920s. Operating under the title Kravet & Sons in 1930, their business changed yet again. Instead of selling directly to consumers, they now only sold to other businesses, the business model they still have today.
Take a peek at Kravet’s new workroom in New York – you can see that this is a company staying ahead of the technology curve.
Along the way, Kravet Inc. consciously acquired well-known brands like Lee Joffa, GP & J Baker, and Donghia. Kravet has brought those brands seamlessly online with an easy-to-navigate, searchable, digital catalog. This seemingly endless library of fabrics offers COCOCO’s customers the ability to design their dream.
In addition to their notable brands, Kravet consistently partners with artists and designers such as Nate Berkus and Barbara Barry for special collections. These fresh eyes and creative minds help Kravet develop new color stories and innovative patterns and textures.
Choose yourself dizzy with multiple offerings from different designer and performance fabric lines.
Kravet’s Sumptuous Chenille line
One of the newest books we received from Kravet is their Sumptuous Performance Chenille. We love the hand feel and rich colors of this chenille. The line includes an incredible amount of soft neutrals as well. Each of our showrooms has a multitude of books from Kravet ranging from colorful chintz, which is making a roaring comeback, to the extremely durable line of Kravet Performance fabrics.
This year we made this eye-popping Belmont Sectional in Kravet Couture’s “Hot Pink.”
One of the many things we love about Kravet is the ease of access. We can get swatches very easily for our clients with Kravet upholsery fabrics.
Our designers would love to help you navigate the world of Kravet fabrics. If you dream it, Kravet has it and COCOCO can make it.
